Blue Dragon makes UK top 10
Wednesday, August 29th, 2007 by anikiThe Xbox 360’s first major JRPG, Blue Dragon finally hit shelves here in the UK last week, and it’s done pretty well, arriving in the charts at a respectable #9.
Of course, it was still beaten by the Transformers (#2) and Harry Potter (#7) movie tie-in games - and since Game of the Year contender Bioshock also dropped on Friday, taking the top spot, sales of everything else might have been lower than usual - it’s arguable that it didn’t do all that well, for a game with a credits roll including Hironobu “Final Fantasy” Sakaguchi, Akira “Dragonball” Toriyama and Nobuo “Final Fantasy” Uematsu.
Actual sales figures for the UK aren’t made available to the public however, so there’s no telling just how well any of them actually performed.
