Gedo Senki trailers and more

Friday, April 28th, 2006 by aniki

The second trailer for Gedo Senki, from Studio Ghibli and Goro Miyazaki, has been posted by Ghibli World (the first trailer is available on Google Video, about 1:20 in).

The new trailer runs for approximately 3 minutes, and showcases a lot of the character designs, which look quite like much of Hayao (Goro’s father) Miyazaki’s work. It’s a pretty average-quality clip, apparently taped off a TV broadcast judging by the weather report running in the top corner, but the film looks like it’ll live up to Studio Ghibli’s established level of quality when it’s released in Japan this July.

Update: More trailers have been put online today, including two other upcoming Ghibli movies at Ghibli World - Isao “Grave Of The Fireflies” Takahata’s Gauche The Cellist, and Kazuo Oga’s Taneyamagahara no Yoru. The other trailer is for the long-awaited second Hellsing anime.
