FUNi steps in on RxJ for Gonzo
Saturday, September 29th, 2007 by anikiFansubbing group Shinsen Subs have announced that they have halted work on the translation and distribution of Gonzo Digimation’s Romeo x Juliet, following a letter received from FUNimation sent on behalf of Gonzo.
FUNimation have not licensed the series - at this stage, they’ve confirmed that there is no North American licensor - but say they will be acting in Gonzo’s stead “to monitor and take action against unauthorized distribution of all Gonzo’s current new titles”.
