Some more information has surfaced about Production IG’s new Stand Alone Complex anime, via a NASDAQ disclosure from the company. Solid State Society will be released this Summer, and appears to be in a single 100-minute installment. Stand Alone Complex director Kenji Kamiyama has said in the past that he wasn’t planning to make another SAC series, so this feature-length story isn’t too shocking.

The new installment is apparently set in 2034, two years after the end of 2nd Gig, and seems to involve hostages at an airport and something about 13 terrorists committing suicide(?) - thanks for nothing, Babelfish…
