Creepy interactive Haruhi face
I was debating whether to include this in the TGS post below, since it’s basically just a gimmick to promote the upcoming Haruhi PSP game, but I think it’s surreal enough to get its own article.
Bandai’s official webpage for upcoming PSP adventure game The Promise of Haruhi Suzumiya has what purports to be a 3D version of the heroine’s head, which reacts to your mouse movements. To me, it looks more like some fancy 2D warping, but either way Ms. Suzumiya looks mighty creepy when her face is plastered this big across my monitor.

There are spaces on the website for two more characters to join in; my money’s on Yuki Nagato and Mikuru Asahina - somehow I can’t see fans being all that bothered about watching Kyon look around the screen. Then again, I’m not sure I see the point in Haruhi doing it, either.
